We are hosting 1-hour Advance Directive Workshops every Monday & Friday in January featuring Northwestern Medicine's Doctor of Nursing, Annette Meares. Come learn about Living Wills, Powers of Attorney for Healthcare, & POLST Forms. Workshops will start at 1 PM, 2 PM & 3 PM on January 16th! Additional dates and times available.
Overview: Complete your forms and walk out of the workshop with your executed documents in-hand, and a smile on your face. This FREE offer makes it easy to complete your advance directives without the need to hire an attorney.

Whether you are curious to start or want to connect with others who practice herbalism, this workshop series is for you. Herbalism is the ancient practice of using plants to support health and well-being. Each session will begin with a brief round table discussion, then move into a practice with herbs led by Krysta Wasilewski. This program is best suited for ages 15 and up. Please register in advance to help us prepare.
January 24th– Defining Herbalism. We will have a group discussion about what herbalism is and isn’t. Then, we’ll get to know and work with White Pine to learn about teas, decoctions, and long infusions.February 21st– Kitchen Herbalism. We will get curious about how to use ingredients that are already in your kitchen with more intention, and how to source herbs. Together we will use Sage, Thyme, Rosemary, Oregano, Cinnamon, and more to create supportive recipes.March 28th– Plant Relationships in Herbalism. We will consider the connections and interactions amongst herbs and why they matter. We’ll begin fostering relationships by planting herbs that can be used for practice in future classes.Nature At The Confluence is committed to providing affordable environmental education for our community. We invite you to choose the particiption fee that is most accessible to you, either $15, $20, or $25 per person. Your participation fee helps offset our cost of supplies and staff time.

Choosing the right cannabis at the dispensary can be overwhelming but the representatives from Terrabis of Woodstock will be here to help. Learn the difference between CBD, THC, and how terpenes in cannabis strains can have differing mental and physical effects.
This program is strictly for adults ages 21+. Visitors under 21 will not be permitted to attend.

Noelle of Bare Soul Healing leads this free sound healing session designed to ease the nervous system and quiet the mind. Soothing vibrations from therapeutic instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes, drums and more create a peaceful space for grounding, relaxation, and renewal.
This session will pay special attention to the heart chakra, in honor of Valentine’s Day.
Please bring a yoga mat or towel if you wish. A limited number of chairs will also be available.
Due to the nature of this event, we will be closing the doors when the program begins at 11:00 a.m., so please arrive on time if you wish to be admitted.
This event does not require registration. It is first come, first served, and there is a limit of 50 participants. It is limited to ages 12 and up.
Noelle is a healing practitioner in Sycamore and has a passion for sharing the benefits of sound healing with the public. Bare Soul Healing is a nature-rooted practice integrating sound healing, yoga, meditation, astrology, and other methods dedicated to supporting emotional well-being and inner peace.
