Looking for a special way to celebrate or honor a special occasion or person in your life? An annual donation of $360 - or $30 per month - qualifies you for a Personal Day Sponsorship. 

As a Day Sponsor, you will receive four personalized on-air announcements on a designated day of your choice on either 89.5 WNIJ or Classical WNIU.  Examples include:

Q: Is a “Qualifying Sustainer” one who has completed a year at $30/month or one who has started at $30/month?
A: Started at $30/month, but at least one payment must have been successfully processed

Q: Do I get a second Day Sponsorship if I donated $720?
A: No, each member account only gets one Day Sponsorship per year.

Q: What if I donate $360 and my spouse donates $365, but we have the same account?
A: Tyler or Deb will check for special circumstances (such as spouses who each have separate sustaining memberships on the same account)

Q: Do I need to donate $360 in a lump sum?
A: No, it is $360 total for your renewal year. For instance, someone who renews at $200 in March, gives an additional gift of $100 in October and another gift of $100 in December qualifies.

Q: Do you total gifts for the current calendar year, or the previous 12 months?
A: Gifts are totaled for 12 months from the most recent renewal.

Q: I’m a sustainer, can I claim a date in perpetuity? Do I need to fill out a new form every year, even if I want the same message? If so, how early can I make my request for the next year?
A: No, a new form must be completed every year. The new request can be made following the date the sponsorship airs.

Q: Can I make my sponsorship anonymous?
A: No

A: No, but please contact Bill Braksick regarding underwriting opportunities.

Q: I donate through my business, can I get a Day Sponsorship using my name?
A: Yes, but it will be a personal message, not in any way referencing your business
