Her work makes visible the stark choice before us: we can continue as users and abusers of natural resources, or we can act as caring stewards, as conscious kin, seeking to make amends for our past behavior and lack of care. Freeman’s love of nature and generosity of spirit pulses from her work, an invitation to us all to become our better selves and live in right relationship to nature. —Debra Shore Commissioner MWRD About the Artist: Carol Freeman’s true passion is photographing nature, creating images that reflect her philosophy of finding beauty in everything.
