Get ready for a vibrant celebration of soccer, family, and community! Our goal is to provide a memorable experience for players and their families.
Don't play soccer? Don't worry! Assemble your team and bring the whole family for a day of on-field action, food, and free entertainment. The day will include free activities for families. Come out, bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket and have fun!
Featuring a 14+ soccer tournament and kid's skills clinic as well as stage performances and community connections throughout the day.

Join a summer tradition that brings us together in a shared vibration and opens us to a meditation on our place in the natural surroundings. Nature makes her own music: thunder, howling winds, bird songs, branches rattling, water gurgling, and so much more. All are welcome to join in the vibration. Drumming is optional- BYO drum or experiment with a provided instrument or stop by simply to enjoy the fire, listen to the music, and make a s’more. This is a free, family-friendly event and there is no registration. Drumming is led by David Stocker, with occasional guest leaders.

The performance will offer reverence to the longest day creating a visual celebration of the summer solstice. The Dixon Municipal Band presents Summer Sounds 2026 on Thursday evenings along the Rock River at 7:30 PM at the Page Park Band Shell.

Experience the captivating sounds and movements of Korean culture featuring traditional drumming and the enchanting melody of native flutes! This music and dance performance combines rhythm, grace, and artistry that you won’t soon forget.
The Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago (KPAC), established in 2013, is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and developing Korean traditional performing arts.
KPAC preserves the authenticity of Korean arts by delivering high-quality performances and offering hands-on educational programs led by professionally trained artists from South Korea. They promote Korean and other ethnic/folk arts by engaging diverse audiences, expanding beyond the Korean community to share the richness of Korean culture with the wider public and contributing to the multicultural landscape of Chicago and beyond. KPAC also develops and innovates within the art form by creating new music and collaborating with artists from other genres, enriching Korean performing arts and broadening its appeal.
This free event is open to all; no registration is required. Doors will open at 6:00 and music will begin at 6:30 p.m. This event is part of the after-hours concert series in partnership with the Friends of the Library and 94.9 WDKB.

The Crosswinds Flute Choir will present a concert entitled 'American Harmonies' on Sunday, July 19, at 4:00 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in DeKalb. 15 flutists playing 5 different sizes of flutes will be playing familiar and new American music. Hear Shenandoah, Appalachian Suite, The Cat's Pajamas, Flutes and Vegetables and more. The concert is free but donations to the Flute Choir or the Bethlehem Food Pantry are appreciated.

Join oudist, vocalist, and composer Dr. Aboud Agha for an intimate evening of original music, and reimagined classical melodies as part of ‘Melodies of the East’.
The performance unfolds through the expressive voice of the oud, intricate rhythms, and improvisation. This concert takes audiences through an immersive musical experience to fire the imagination, drawing inspiration from ancient cultures and timeless artistic traditions.
Aboud Agha was born in Syria and immigrated to Boston at the age of twelve. He is an accomplished performer and composer of Arabic and Middle Eastern music. Aboud is a master of the Oud (Middle Eastern lute) and of many vocal styles from this part of the world. He has a master’s degree in musical performance from Northern Illinois University and a doctorate in ethnomusicology from UCLA in California. He now teaches at the American University in Dubai.
Aboud will be accompanied on by percussionist and DeKalb native Sven Oscar Hansen. Sven has lived and studied in Norway and India, and has created and performed events incorporating music, poetry, and sound healing.
There will be an opportunity after the show to meet and chat with the artists.
