Susan recently recorded The Devil’s Arithmetic as a volunteer narrator for Learning Ally, a nonprofit organization that provides audiobooks for struggling young readers. Susan is fluent in French, a longtime choral singer, a sometime stage actor, and an avid theatre patron. Long ago, Susan broke her high school record for the girls’ half-mile run, and her record still stands (Now the race is an 800-meter run.).
