John Frana

John Frana, MBA is currently the President of the Center for Education and Training Reform. The Center’s first project is to pass the STOP Act (Student Tax Option Act) as rational solution to the student loan problem which looms as the next fiscal crisis in the American economy.

Previously, John Frana founded theFranaGroup in 1999 to assist community health centers and has worked in 37 states and Puerto Rico, bringing over $1 billion in benefits to his clients and their communities.

John has been the former CEO of a Federally Qualified Health Center, President of a Malpractice Risk Purchase Group and Vice Chairman of a Medicaid HMO. John is licensed in all lines of insurance and holds an MBA in Finance (NIU 74).

In his spare time, John is an avid motorsports enthusiast with seventeen years’ experience as a licensed National and FIA (international) race car driver. John designed, manufactured and marketed a manual quick jack for Formula race cars.
