Chicago prices are at $2.69 per gallon. That's four cents less than a week ago and about 70 cents less than a year ago.
The state average is $2.31 per gallon. That’s only two cents less than last week but about 70 cents cheaper than it was a year ago.
On average, the cheapest gas in the state is in Bloomington-Normal. There, it’s at $2.12 per gallon of regular unleaded gas.
The national average is $2.22, which is three cents more than last week.
The state with the highest gas is Hawaii at $2.87 per gallon. South Carolina has the lowest at $1.95 per gallon. Both prices declined by two cents from last week.
