Nick Cashmere is a Rockford-based artist blending a variety of techniques and sources. Unifying his body of work is a dedication to wood, pyrography, and a heterogeneity of found objects and photographs. Cashmere has exhibited in solo exhibitions Mischiefs in Heat and Sawdust at Kortman Gallery, All These Ideas Behave Like Fugitives at Innovatech, both of Rockford, and in group exhibitions such as Another Angle at Gallery Studio Oh! Chicago, and the 61st Annual Beloit & Vicinity, Wright Museum of Art, Beloit, Wisconsin.
