This hidden gem of Winnebago County boasts a dramatic dolomite gorge, vibrant fall colors, and tranquil views of the Kishwaukee River. This evening stroll will consist of hills and an option to descend a steep wooden staircase with railings to see the gorge and river from the bottom of a slope. We will learn about the science of fall along the way! Cost: $3/members; $5/general admission.

Do you have fond memories of your days working on the student radio or television station? Or perhaps you’re interested in the process of recording and broadcasting a musical ensemble? Join us for a free open house in the studios.
• Tour the studios of WNIJ and WNIU, Northern Public Radio’s news and classical music stations.
• Meet public radio staff and fellow Huskies.
• Enjoy snacks and live music.

Work alongside fellow nature-lovers in the beauty of the outdoors for a gratifying and invigorating day restoring the forest ecosystem. You’ll learn new things, have fun, meet wonderful people, and help contribute to the health of the forest. No experience is necessary; training and tools are supplied. Bring a water bottle and stay hydrated. Dress in layers and expect to get dirty!

Dine In, Carry Out or Drive-by Pick-up through alleyway behind church building! Homemade meat or veggie lasagna with garlic breadsticks, salad, dessert, plus beverage for dine-in guests. Proceeds support Open Table UCC as it advocates for LGBTQ+, antiracism, immigrant rights, and addresses local hunger and homelessness.
