The event has been rescheduled to Saturday, September 24, for National Public Lands Day. Registration, required for this event, will begin in August.

Celebrate National Trails Day in Boone County on June 4, from 10 am-5 pm!
We have a day of programs, fun, and volunteer activities to help celebrate our trails and open space in Boone County.

We have planned a fun family day out at Kinnikinnick Creek Conservation Area. Hike on trails and learn about our local plants and animals. Listen about the area’s natural history or join a group to help maintain this Conservation Area for generations to come!

You can sign up for the morning, afternoon, or all-day sessions. There is even an overnight campout for families to attend that includes a campfire, night hikes, and stargazing!
