¡Culturafest!

Local nonprofit organizations La Onda and SWIFTT are thrilled to present the inaugural ¡Culturafest! at the Coronado Performing Arts Center on Saturday, September 21, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with doors opening at 5:00 PM. This free event, part of Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, offers the Rockford community a chance to experience the vibrant diversity of Latin American culture.

¡Culturafest! is a historic milestone at the Coronado. The evening will feature performances, visual art, and exhibits highlighting the rich tapestry of Latino traditions, showcasing the various music, dance, and visual arts from across Latin America.

Sponsors include the City of Rockford, Rockford Park District, Collins Aerospace, Friends of the Coronado, and Winnebago County. Special thanks to LoRayne Logan, Madrina sponsor of El Grito, battle cry celebrating Mexican independence.
