The average price of a regular unleaded gallon of gas is $2.05, up 2 cents from last week, as reported by the AAA Daily Fuel Report
Statewide prices also rose by 2 cents to $2.09/gallon.
The most expensive gasoline is in Chicago, at $2.37/gallon, while the cheapest gas can be found in Urbana-Champaign, at $1.94/gallon.
Finally, the average price of gas in Rockford is close to the national price, at $2.06/gallon.
