Winnebago County State’s Attorney Joe Bruscato announced charges against four individuals related to the disappearance and murder of two people in February in Rockford.
According to a news release, detectives conducted an investigation into the disappearance of 22-year-old Danielle Son, Danielle’s boyfriend, 25-year-old Sergio Quiroz and her estranged husband, 26-year-old Hand Son. On Feb. 22, the bodies of Danielle Son and Sergio Quiroz were located at Blackhawk Park in Rockford. Subsequent autopsies by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office revealed the victims died as a result of gunshot wounds. The suspect, Hand Son was also found dead. A subsequent autopsy by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office revealed that Hand Son died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. As a result of the investigation, the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office has authorized charges against the following individuals:
Hsa Kler Htoo (D.O.B. 10/10/1990) faces two counts of Concealment of a Homicidal Death and one count of Obstruction of Justice.
Eh T. Blay (D.O.B 6/1/1997), Thee Da Cho (D.O.B. 6/13/1987) and Naw Naw (D.O.B. 1/1/1967) each face one count of Obstruction of Justice.
The defendants are in custody at the Winnebago County Jail.
The charges are merely allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
