Chicago prices are at $2.09 per gallon. That's 13 cents less than last week and about 20 cents less than a year ago.
The state average is $1.74 per gallon. That’s eleven cents less than last week and 19 cents cheaper than it was last year.
On average, the cheapest gas in the state is in Champaign-Urbana. It’s priced at $1.45 per gallon of regular unleaded gas, which is about 19 cents less than the cheapest gas in the state last week.
The national average is $1.82, which is seven cents less last week and about 21 cents less than last year.The state with the highest gas price average is California at $2.66 per gallon, which is 10 cents less than last week. Oklahoma has the lowest average price at $1.53 per gallon.
