Chicago prices are at $2.33 per gallon. That's two cents more than a week ago and about 64 cents less than a year ago.
The state average is $2.00 per gallon. That’s the same as last week but 60 cents cheaper than it was last year.
On average, the cheapest gas in the state is in Danville. It’s priced at $1.79 per gallon of regular unleaded gas, which is fifteen cents more than the cheapest gas in the state last week.
The national average is $1.99, which is the same as last week but about 52 cents less than last year.
The state with the highest gas price average is California at $2.83 per gallon, which is 11 cents more than last week. Missouri has the lowest average price at $1.70 per gallon.
