Queers ’n’ Allies Community Blood Drive

Queers ’n’ Allies Community Blood Drive
The Queer-Oriented Rural Resource Network (QORRN) and Safe Passage are hosting a blood drive to fight the worst blood shortage in a decade and raise awareness about restrictions on Queer blood donors.
QORRN and Safe Passage invite community members to attend a Blood Drive at the Federated Church of Sycamore on April 23, from 9am to 1pm.
To sign up for a donation time and to learn more, please visit www.QORRN.com/BloodDrive.
Donors and volunteers will enjoy appearances by DeKalb’s finest drag entertainers, Moana Lotte’s Barb City Babes, and will also be entered for a chance to win gift cards to area restaurants and bars.
QORRN is a community project based in DeKalb, dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ individuals in rural communities access the resources they need.
Safe Passage is DeKalb County’s only Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Crisis Center, providing a wide range of services to survivors and their loved ones including shelter, counseling and advocacy.
