MCC Second Sunday: Manilow, Mancini and Midler

Singer Maureen Christine and woodwind artist Michael Bazan will perform popular hits from the songbooks of three Grammy Award-Winning artists—Barry Manilow, Henry Mancini, and Bette Midler—as part of the McHenry County College (MCC) Second Sunday Concert Series on Sunday, February 13 at 3 p.m. Christine brings her crystal-clear voice to audience-favorite songs, including “I Write the Songs” (Johnson/Manilow),” “Days of Wine and Roses” and “Pink Panther” (Mancini), “Wind Beneath My Wings” (Henley/Midler), and more.

Vocalist Maureen Christine is a national recording artist and award-winning singer with a lovely, sweet voice and a beautiful way with ballads. She has opened for Willie Nelson, shared the stage with pop star Barry Manilow, and performed for astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
Michael Bazan is an esteemed music educator and professional woodwind player. They will be accompanied by pianist Chuck Larkin, former music director and keyboardist for the Jersey Boys.

The performance will be held at the College’s Luecht Auditorium, 8900 US Highway 14, Crystal Lake, IL. It is free and open to the public.
Masks/face coverings are currently required to be worn on MCC’s campus at all times.
