The Rockford Society, Archaeological Institute of America, invites you to "Heroes on the Move: Greek Heroes in the Hellenistic World," a free multi-media presentation by Amanda Herring, Assistant Professor of Art and Art History at Loyola Marymount University.

A field archaeologist and national lecturer, she will present depictions of heroes in art, how they were worshipped and their historic transformation in the Hellenistic east.

Masks are strongly recommended.

The public is invited to a free reception immediately following the presentation.
