The public is invited a benefit for Rockford Urban Ministries (RUM), Sunday July 24, 6:30pm at Spring Creek UCC, 4500 Spring Creek Rd. Minimum $6 donation, and we will pass the hat.

Emily Hurd will share her latest songs as well as some classics, and we will hear from the Swahili Choir of Victory UMC and Ron Holm’s Reconstituted Blues Band.

We will also be celebrating Pastor Violet Johnicker’s birthday (she is the new associate director at RUM)!
