The stage is set - the Barack Obama Foundation is scheduled to be in Illinois today to announce the home of the presidential library.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel doesn’t want to give anything away - but says the library would bring lots of jobs to the state.
“I think it’s a unique opportunity that will economically, as well as culturally and educationally, pay a dividend for the city of Chicago on the South - or whatever neighborhood he picks - for years to come.”
Multiple news outlets have reported the Obama Foundation will choose the University of Chicago as its partner for the library.
