Join us for a very special Sessions from Studio A as we remember the life of Carl Nelson, host and creator of Sessions. Carl worked tirelessly to bring music into everyone's lives. He converted Studio A from an empty concrete room into a beautiful space worthy of bands and artists. He loved every genre from country to jazz, prog to pop, and always featured a wide range of artists on the show. Many have had their first radio airplay because of Carl.
He was a genius in the recording studio, but more importantly he was an amazing friend and a mentor. Despite the sadness we feel after losing Carl, we can find some solace knowing that his memory lives on through all the artists he worked with and in all those he reached with the power of music.
