The Northern Illinois University Veterans Club, in conjunction with the American Legion Honor Guard, recognized America's veterans today with a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Flag Pole by the East Lagoon on the NIU Campus.
NIU Vice President Alan Phillips offered the keynote remarks. Brittany Anderson sang the national anthem, and Michael Embrey played Taps following the rifle salute.
