Grassroots organization Shifting Gears wants to build a dirt race track in Silver Creek Township, but they won’t commit to the project until they know alcohol can be sold there.
The Journal-Standard reports a ballot referendum ending the township’s prohibition on alcohol appeared to pass Tuesday. However, grace period and mail-in votes haven’t been counted. Official results are expected November 23.
