Sycamore Police are investigating the robbery of an armored vehicle on Thursday morning. It occured at a strip mall at 1470 Peace Road. Officers spoke with employees of Thillens, the armored car service, who said an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the vehicle.
According to a news release, two masked suspects were reported to have committed the robbery and fled in a silver Ford Escape or similar style SUV. It's possible there is a third suspect.
No one was injured during the robbery.
