The dean of the Northern Illinois University College of Law is still on administrative leave pending an investigation, according to a university spokesperson.
NIU’s Human Resources office received a complaint regarding Dean Eric Dannenmaier in mid-February. He voluntarily went on paid administrative leave shortly after.
NIU College of Law professor Mark Cordes is serving as acting dean. He held the role prior to Dannenmaier’s arrival.
Dannenmaier became dean at NIU in June 2016.
