Large employers must file mass layoffs with the state of Illinois.
The biggest job cuts to come are in auto parts manufacturing. According to the most recent report, IAC Belvidere will make an additional 298 job cuts around the holidays.
Android Belvidere will lay off 273 workers in December. Ventra in Belvidere will let go of 89 workers next month.
Meanwhile, dozens of workers at Byron's Austin-Westran will be laid off. 79 workers at the Ogle county manufacturer will be out of a job by mid-December.
