President Obama Continues To Sell Immigration Action

Talk Radio News Service

President Barack Obama came home to Chicago Tuesday and continued to express his desire to help the undocumented through his executive action.

But not before being heckled by several audience members criticizing his efforts saying they're not going far enough. Midway through his speech, he was interrupted several times by demonstrators.

Obama reiterated to the cheering crowd of more than 18 hundred what he said last week...families can stay together legally if they’ve been here for more than five years.

I’m taking new steps to deal responsibly with the millions of immigrants who already live here. Including here Chicago.

Illinois U.S. Representative Luis Gutierrez was disappointed the President’s remarks were overshadowed.

They’re protesting this president? You know it took awhile but he listened.

Gutierrez hopes Congressional Republicans will listen to him and the president as the debate continues.
