Celebrate the summer solstice with poetry, fire, and drumming! Christopher D. Sims of Rockford will share spoken word, and you are invited to share poetry and stories during our open mic. Christopher is a poet, performance artist, and environmental justice activist who we are honored to have join us.

Whether you’re a seasoned drummer, or have never picked up a drum, you are invited to participate. We have all kinds of fun percussion instruments for you to try. Or just come to enjoy the community fire, listen to the drumming and make a s’more! Seating and instruments are provided, and you are also welcome to bring your own.
