DeKalb Township Residents can skip the long line at the DMV and schedule an appointment with the Secretary of State Mobile Unit (for Driver & Vehicle Services) for select services at the DeKalb Township on 8/2/23.

Spots are limited. Appointments are strongly recommended, though walk-ins will be accepted while appointment slots remain unclaimed.

Services offered include Real ID issuance (first time Real State ID, Conversion of existing Driver’s License or State ID to Real ID), Driver's License issuance (renewal, duplicate, corrected), State ID Card issuance (first time, renewal, duplicate, corrected), Vehicle Registration Stickers (expiring in the current year), Organ & Tissue Donation/Voter Registration (Only with License or ID Application).

Cash NOT be accepted. Personal Check/Money Order for exact amount (cannot be post-dated), as well as Credit or Debit card payments will be accepted (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover).

No written or road tests will be administered at this location.
