Wisconsin will recognize hundreds of same-sex marriages that were performed in the state in June.
Governor Scott Walker announced today he directed state agencies to carry out the law.
About 550 same-sex couples were married in Wisconsin during a brief window last summer. The legal fate of those marriages was unclear until today.
