Governor Pat Quinn says DeKalb County will get more than $1.4 million for road improvements. One project involves the widening and resurfacing of Bethany Road between North First Street and Meadow Trail West in DeKalb. Another project will replace parts of a bridge carrying Township Road 61 over the Kishwaukee River west of Illinois Route 23. The money comes from the state's capital construction program.
