Rockford, IL – The likely next superintendent of Rockford Public Schools is heading back home to Louisiana, but says she'll return soon to learn about the community. Dr. LaVonne Sheffield wrapped up three days of schools tours and meetings with parents, teachers, and community leaders. WNIJ's Susan Stephens spoke with her.
