Classical WNIU invites you to enjoy the festive sounds of choir, organ, and chamber orchestra as Kantorei - The Singing Boys of Rockford presents "Christmas with Kantorei," 7:30pm, Tuesday, December 20th at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Rockford.
This year’s concert highlights include choral masterworks by J.S. Bach and Felix Mendelssohn as well as imaginative settings of carols, hymns, and anthems from around the world. Special guests include Jean Anderson, organist, and string players from The Music Academy. Now in its 48th season, this young choir is acclaimed for its discipline and maturity in performance, delighting audiences locally, nationally, and across the globe with their clarity of tone and spirited arrangements.
