Mario Gomez
Mario is a retired fashion designer of unique, couture, high-fashion gowns. He is a passionate gardener and a mixed media painter. He moved to DeKalb 4 years ago with his husband Bob, his mother Elis, and their two whippets, Luxor and Cairo.
Mario is originally from Venezuela and relocated to the United States 24 years ago. He has been an active volunteer and a member of the Board of Directors of the DeKalb County Community Gardens (DCCG).
He was the Mayor's Community Liaison for the Latinx population in Manorhaven, New York. He was also a member of the Hispanic Alliance and the Human Rights Council in Tampa, Florida.
