Simulated radio traffic, a test of NIU’s emergency notification systems and sound effects are what’s to be expected Friday morning at the Multi-Jurisdictional Disaster Response Exercise in and around the NIU Convocation Center.
Faculty, staff, students and area residents should be advised of changes in traffic patterns on the far west side of the NIU campus near the Convocation Center from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Motorists should expect traffic delays along roads on the west side of campus and on West Lincoln Highway near the Convocation Center.
