Capacity attendance by appreciative audiences has made “Trinadora’s Celtic Frolic” an annual tradition for the Concerts On The Creek series hosted by Spring Creek UCC, 4500 Spring Creek Road, Rockford, IL.

Trinadora (Jannie Nelson and Ron Holm) showcases compelling vocal solos and heart-touching harmonies with exquisite musicianship on keyboard, ocarina, guitars (bass, standard, and lap-steel), concertina, fiddle, harmonica, ukulele, and other instruments.
Sister duo Emerald Wind performs an outstanding harp and flute guest set as does Danny McDade, Rockford's authentic Irish solo artist. Dancer Chantal Pellman adds genuine Irish steps to the Frolic.

The program features personalized interpretations of traditional Celtic favorites and specially-arranged pop standards by contemporary composers from the areas the Celts once inhabited.

This unique concert will introduce songs not included in previous years as well as time-honored favorites. The concert includes primitive Celtic songs dating back to Medieval times, but also explores the Celtic influence on American folk, country, and popular music. Admission is free, and listeners are encouraged to make generous donations directly to the musicians and to purchase their CDs.

Seating is limited to 100 and to guarantee that they'll be included in the 100, listeners may make an early donation in the form a $6 ticket at www.springcreekucc.org/concerts.

The comfortable indoor venue at 4500 Spring Creek Road offers free off-street parking for 95 vehicles, all-on-one-floor access, perfect acoustics, and packaged snacks and beverages. Doors open at 6pm on Saturday March 19th; the concert begins at 7pm.
