The West Side Show Room is holding auditions for its upcoming season August 19 and 22, 2023.

This year’s plays include “The Irish Curse,” “Dead Man’s Cell Phone,” and “Vampire Lesbians of Sodom.”

In The Irish Curse, size matters to this group of New Yorkers who attend a weekly support group for men with small penises. There are five roles for actors who can portray Black, Asian, and White men.

From the playwright of "Eurydice" (performed at The West Side Show Room in the fall of 2021), “Dead Man's Cellphone” is an eccentric comic-noir about a woman who follows a ringing cell phone down a rabbit hole of mysterious adventure. There are six roles for actors of any gender or ethnicity age 21 and up.

To celebrate its10th Anniversary, The West Side Show Room is bringing back our first show: Vampire Lesbians of Sodom. One of the longest running plays in Off Broadway history, Vampire Lesbians tells the saga of two fatally seductive vampiresses whose bitter rivalry endures for two thousand years, with stops in 1920s silent movie Hollywood and contemporary Las Vegas. There are eleven roles for actors of any gender or ethnicity, age 18 and up.
