Hailed for her "bracing virtuosity" and "fearless and extraordinary" style, Isabelle Demers is currently head of the organ program at Baylor University and has accepted a new appointment at McGill University in Montreal. She holds a doctorate in organ performance from the Julliard School.

During the week of June 5-10, the Rockford Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) will host and celebrate the "King of Instruments" with a musical event known as the "Pipe Organ Encounter Plus" or (POE+). The Pipe Organ Encounter Plus is a summer educational outreach program of the AGO which brings nationally-renowned organists to our city where they will teach organ lessons, present workshops, and give concerts. Throughout the week, three concerts will be given on some of the most beautiful and fantastic pipe organs in the area. All of the performances are open to the public. (A free-will offering will be taken.)
