The Chicago Brass Band Players will open the 2024-25 McHenry County College (MCC) Concert Series on Saturday, October 12 at 3 p.m. The concert will take place at the College’s Luecht Auditorium.

The specialized ensemble will perform a variety of repertoire for brass quintet and similar ensembles.

The MCC Concert Series features a variety of classical, jazz, and folk musicians from the greater Chicago area, along with semiannual concerts featuring the MCC chorus, concert band, and various ensembles. Upcoming performances include a special Halloween Concert by the MCC Concert Band and Crystal Lake Community Band in the MCC Gym on October 27 at 3 p.m.; Sessions Jazz on November 16 at 3 p.m.; the MCC Jazz Ensembles on November 20 at 7 p.m.; and the MCC Concert Band on November 24 at 3 p.m. at Woodstock High School.
