On June 27th, from 10 AM – 2 PM, The Illinois Tollway and the Illinois Treasurer’s Office will be at the DeKalb Township, located at 2323 S. 4th St. in DeKalb, to provide services to local residents.
Earlier this year, the Illinois Tollway started the process of phasing out the decades-old I-PASS transponders in favor of I-PASS sticker tags. This event will serve a transponder recycle and swap opportunity. Anyone in possession of a transponder is encouraged to return and safely recycle their lithium-containing-transponder at this event. In exchange for their transponder, participants will receive their new I-PASS sticker tag(s) and a credit to their I-PASS account equal to the amount they paid for their transponder deposit.
This event is open to all. No residency requirement applies.
