Join the Coon Creek Casters and the Boone County Conservation District for a Free Fun Fishing Event on Saturday, June 11, from 8:30 am -12 pm. REGISTRATION REQUIRED by calling 815-547-7935 or emailing office@bccdil.org. Children ages 5-15 are welcome to fish with the help of the Coon Creek Casters Fishing Club. Bring your fishing pole if you have one or request to use one when registering. Volunteers will help get children fishing, and there will be prizes for those participating in the event. The Hooked On Fishing Event will take place at Spencer Conservation Area at 603 N. Appleton Rd. Children are required to have adult supervision while participating in the event.
