Pre-COVID, Chicago-based Americana phenom Ernie Hendrickson created a 'day after Thanksgiving' annual concert in Rockford - the town where he developed his musical craft. Ernie is re-launching the tradition, and we're honored that he selected Concerts on The Creek as the venue. With an ISU degree in classical guitar, Ernie is celebrated for his songwriting, studio production, and vocal strength in addition to his instrumental virtuosity. NOTE THAT THIS IS A SPECIAL FRIDAY EVENING EVENT. Doors open at 6pm. PIZZA BY THE SLICE, bottled soft drinks, and snacks will be available by 6:15pm.
There is no admission charge, but goodwill donations from the audience pay the musician and help to defray the church's event hosting costs. $10 is the suggested donation, but all good-faith amounts are appreciated. Attendance is limited to 150.
