The Executive Director of Rockford's Mendelssohn Performing Arts Centeris stepping down. Kathleen Montgomery is moving out of state. A replacement for Montgomery has not yet been hired.
According to an email newsletter from Mendelssohn, Mongtomery says she is moving to Tulsa due to a job change for her husband.
Montgomery writes, "MPAC has come a long way; we have changed from a private club to a thriving arts campus. We are a place for the Rockford community to gather to enjoy a variety of artistic events as well as a place to learn and grow in the performing arts. I am grateful to have been a part of this process."
