Some genes might affect sexual orientation.

That’s according to a studypublished in Psychological Medicine. Researchers say their results bolster previous evidence pointing to genes on the X chromosome.

Health officials call the results intriguing but not conclusive.

Specific causes of homosexuality are unknown. Some scientists think social and biological factors are involved, and some religious groups think it’s an immoral choice.
