Some people are complaining that COVID-19 is not the pandemic they signed up for. It was supposed to be Zombies!

An Illinois lawmaker wants to declare October 2017 as Zombie Preparedness Month. Representative Chris Welch of Westchester is leading the charge against the undead, hoping to spur families into action.

"I am told that if you are prepared for zombies, than you would be prepared to deal with a natural disaster, like tornadoes, blizzards, natural disasters of any kind," he said.  "You would have proper food storage; you would have identified a place you would go for shelter."

This proposal prompted a bit of comedy from Welch's colleague, Representative Will Davis.
