The 21st is a one-hour talk show hosted by Niala Boodhoo, former host for WBEZ Chicago.  This program offers listeners the chance to connect with others from all corners of the state by discussing issues that affect their lives as residents of Illinois. The 21st is a production of Illinois Public Media.

Before joining WILL in November, Ms. Boodhoo worked at WBEZ in Chicago,  in Miami for WLRN, The Associated Press, Miami Herald and South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

She began her journalism career in 2000 working for Reuters in London and Washington, DC. A graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she holds master's degrees from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and Florida International University.
