The Wades, along with their son Jacky - Jonny’s twin brother - were the guests of Illinois Congressman Rodney Davis for the president’s speech.

Kimberly heads the family’s effort to promote increased pediatric cancer research - as part of “Project Team Jonny.”

“It’s about all the children that are fighting cancer, which will be over 16-thousand each year are diagnosed with cancer. So, we want more funding, we need more funding,” Wade said.

Kimberly says they are thrilled with the president’s announcement.

Jacky Wade, joined Davis on the House floor. They were surrounded by lawmakers wearing “Team Jonny” wristbands.

Right before the speech, Davis introduced Jacky to the president.
