Tri-Cities' Coal Problem & What We Can Do About It

Many St. Charles, Geneva, and Batavia residents are not aware of the fact that their public utilities provide their residents with electricity from a coal-burning power plant in southern Illinois. The League of Women Voters Central Kane County and 4 other local and state organizations invite Tri-Cities residents to a Community Meeting to address the "Tri-Cities' Coal Problem & What You Can Do About it". The Community Meeting will be held at Baker Community Center Collins Auditorium, 101 S. Second Street, in St. Charles on November 15 at 7:00 p.m.
