This event, conducted on Zoom, will feature a discussion between NPR's Steve Inskeep and Dean Robert Brinkmann on a variety of topics such as the current state of democracy, the current state of the media and freedom of the press. A moderated question and answer session will follow.

Inskeep is a trusted and seasoned journalist, best known as the host of NPR’s Morning Edition and the morning news podcast Up First. Since joining Morning Edition in 2004, Inskeep has reported from some of the world’s most pivotal locations, delving into the intersection of geopolitics, human migration, and economic shifts.
