Native American-Style Wooden Flute Making Workshop

Corey Swanborg, a descendant of Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, will guide participants in creating their own native-inspired handmade wooden flute. In this two-day workshop participants will use power tools to fashion aromatic cedar into beautiful instruments that produce the iconic sound of the wooden flute.

Workshop will take place over two days in the Rec Hall located at Spencer Conservation Area on Saturday, November 6th, from 9:00am – 2:30pm and Sunday, November 7th, from 10:00am – 2:30pm.
